Steam Jet ejectors offer a reliable and economical means for producing vacuum.
Characteristics:
EJECTORS
The primary advantages of the steam jet ejector are its low initial cost, lack of moving
parts and simplicity of operation.
The ejectors can be fabricated from any workable or wieldable material such as: cast iron,
Carbons Steel, stainless steel, Monel , Teflon, Hastelloy, titanium, glass fiber reinforced
plastic (FRP) etc.. Vacuum ranging from atmosphere to 3"Hg abs.
VACUUM UNITS
Vacuum ranging from 3"Hg abs, to 3 microns Hg abs can be achieved by multiple staging.
Multiple staged systems often include surface or direct contact type condensers.
Intercondensers reduce motive steam requirements and, under certain conditions, permit recovery of product condense. Systems can be designed to handle a variety of process fluids, including air, water, HIC, Butane ,SO2,ethylene Glycol, and many other organic and inorganic vapors.
